How To Apply UV DTF Cup Wraps

Hey guys,
We wanted to jump on and give a little written instruction list and also a guide on how to apply our UV DTF cup wraps.
Hope this makes your process a little easier :) 

Written Instructions

Couple Friendly Tips
First off please keep in mind the type of cup you are going to use to ensure the decal will adhere, for example please DO NOT use the sublimation frosted glassware as the decal will not adhere or have a super hard time trying to stick.

When going to clean your glassware before apply your decal DO NOT use alcohol based sprays as this will break down the adhesive on the decal preventing it to stick to the glassware.

Keep in mind when you go to apply the decal onto your glassware make sure you have it exactly as you want it because once it sticks it will not come off. 

Step 1: Prep
Lets clean the glassware before the application of the decal. Wash your cup with soapy water and make sure to DRY the cup completely, DO NOT USE ALCOHOL as will break the adhesive down preventing it from adhering properly. Make sure your cup is free from any dust and debris before applying and also a good idea to cut any excess carrier sheet prior to application to prevent overlapping.

Step 2: Positioning 
Peel about 2-3cm of the backing film away to expose some of the sticky adhesive and cut the section of backing film you peeled with scissors. Now using the unexposed part of the decal, wrap around your cup to position it the way you want it to appear on your cup. Make sure NOT to press the exposed part down while positioning your decal. When you are 100% happy with the positioning of your decal it is now time to apply it to your cup, gently push down the exposed sticky part to your cup to secure its positioning. Now grab your scrapper and pull back your decal to allow the backing to come away abit, use your scraper and push along your decal to adhere it completely to your cup. Once the decal is completely on the cup you will need to scrap the decal completely making sure it has adhered and no bubbles. We also recommend using the palm of your hand for 2-3 minutes pushing the decal down as this uses body temperature to help activate the adhesive more, we have heard of some people using a heat gun to go over the decal quickly to heat the adhesive (we have not tried this ourselves though).
By doing the palm of hand step it will make your peeling step easier and will help the decals to have less lifting.

Step 3: Removing the Backing
SLOWLY, very slowly peel the backing film from the decal and ensure that it doesn't stretch or tear. If you notice any parts of the decal lifting as your peeling, go back and gently push down that area and then resume peeling SLOWLY.

Step 4: Smooth Out and Activate
It is a good idea to rub your fingers or your palm over the decal to smooth it all out. Please remember DO NOT WASH or use the cup for at least 24-48 hours after decal application. This will allow the adhesive to strengthen on the glass and bond nicely.

Also remember your glassware with decals applied are only HANDWASH, do not place in microwave or dishwasher.
